Still in it myself — and turning everything I learn into the work I do for women over 40.

Before any of the letters after my name, I was just a woman standing at my kitchen counter one summer morning, staring at the coffee pot like it might rescue me — so drained the day felt impossible before it had even started. I'd just been told my labs looked normal and my thyroid numbers were "great," and to maybe take it easy. I remember thinking: if everything is normal, why do I feel like a stranger in my own body? So when I say I understand what you're going through, I really do. I'm not studying this season of life from the outside. I'm walking through it right alongside you.
How I Learned to Blossom Through Life's Storms
When everything wilted
In 2015 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and I felt wilted — exhausted, worn down, and like a stranger in my own body. I was told I'd probably be on medication for good, and that otherwise everything looked fine. But I couldn't accept "fine" when I felt so far from it. So I did what I've always done when something doesn't add up: I started digging. Into nutrition, into the mind-body connection, into how all of it actually fits together.
Learning to work with my body, not against it
Years of teaching biology and chemistry had taught me to ask better questions — so I turned that on my own health. And slowly, it clicked: feeling better was never about "fixing" myself. It was about working with my body instead of fighting it. The fog started to lift. My energy came back. And somewhere in there I found something I wasn't expecting — a purpose. I wanted to help other women who'd been handed that same hollow "everything's fine."
Living it again — and going deeper
I'll be honest with you: my Hashimoto's is back, and now perimenopause is here too. There were mornings I'd wake at 3am with my mind racing and no energy for the simplest things, and moments I'd lose my words in the middle of a sentence — the quiet embarrassment of knowing what I wanted to say and not being able to reach it. So I'm not writing to you from the other side of this, all figured out. I'm in it right now, same as you — some days figuring it out, some days just getting through. (This time, when I was told my thyroid was "great," I asked them to run my antibodies. They came back positive. Sometimes you have to ask the question yourself.)
And honestly? That second wave is exactly what pulled me deeper into hormones. Thyroid and perimenopause are so tangled together, and hardly anyone had explained either one to me clearly — so I trained as a Women's Hormonal Health Coach to understand it properly, for myself first. Now I help other women make sense of it too: the science, yes, but also the rest, the rhythm, and the grace we forget to give ourselves. You're not winding down. You're just getting to a different, deeper part of the story.
Healing was never about getting it perfect. It's about learning to hear what your body's telling you — and finally knowing how to answer.
Your Body Is an Ecosystem — Not a Machine
Here's how I think about all of this — three things I lean on, together. I call it The Blossom Method™:
🌿 Rooted in Science
The biochemistry really does matter. We'll look at your hormones, your gut, the nutrients you might be missing — in plain language, until the whole picture finally makes sense.
🌸 Aligned with Nature
Your energy and hormones move with nature's rhythms, not against them. I'll help you get back in step — through food, movement, and real rest. No rigid rules, I promise.
💛 Nourished by Spirit
We heal better when we trust ourselves. Mindfulness and self-compassion aren't "woo" to me — they're part of how the body actually settles and mends.
Why I Do This Work
I know how it feels to be exhausted for no reason anyone can name, and to be told nothing's wrong when you know it is. So you're never "just a client" to me. I work alongside your doctors, never in place of them — my job is to turn the science into steps you can actually take, and to be right there with you while you take them.
Nothing makes me happier than watching a woman go from confused and worn out to steady, strong, and hopeful again.
